How Billingshurst Windows handles your details
Enquiries and visit bookings made through this site
Details that reach us
The enquiry form carries your name and email, and optionally a phone number and some words about the house. A booking from the visit diary sends name, email, phone, the visit slot picked and any note about parking or access.
The purposes
Answering your message, arranging the home visit, pricing the windows and, if you say yes, installing them. Under data protection law this rests on dealing with your request ahead of a possible contract, and on the contract itself once agreed.
Who handles them
An email carries your details to the local window and door company, registered with FENSA, that answers enquiries made on this site. The firms hosting the site and its email handle them on our behalf. Nobody buys them from us, and they are never used for mailshots.
How long we keep it
Retention: enquiries that do not become a job deleted 12 months after last contact; customer records kept 6 years after the job ends. Customer records are kept that long for guarantees, building regulations certificates and tax.
What you can ask for
To see, correct or erase what Billingshurst Windows holds about you, or to object to a use of it, write to contact@billingshurstwindows.com. If that does not settle it, you have the right to raise the matter with the UK data regulator, the ICO.
Browser storage
Covered on the browser storage page. Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us a count of visits per page. No cookie or local storage entry is involved, and the figures it reports cannot be traced back to you. There is no advertising code on the site.
